• Intake: The brand of choice for us for NA Miatas is the Jackson Racing Cold Air Intake. Works great, adds easy horsepower – and it’s California smog legal. For NB’s we like Racing Beats high flow intake with their cold air duct. Again, great performance, reasonable price, and CA smog legal.

• Superchargers: Our hands-down favorite is Fast Forward Superchargers. Their packages are all cold side (meaning that the supercharger package actually replaces the intake PRMOTORSPORTS.COM 17 OF 23 9/23/2009 – V2 manifold, instead of sitting right on top of the hot exhaust and soaking up all that heat) – and more importantly they are all California smog legal. The new 1.6 FFS supercharger package
should be released shortly. The final added benefit is that by replacing the intake manifold assembly with the supercharger, the net weight of the car is increased by only 27lbs – and that is on the passenger side, improving the car’s balance. Sweet.

• Rollbars: We are both dealers and installers for Boss Frog and Hard Dog rollbars, and have probably installed more of these in Miatas than any other shop in the Bay Area. Ask Jeremy – he’s done most of them.

• Brake pads: We sell and install Hawk track pads and Porterfield street performance pads.

We use only the highest quality parts in all our services -- Mobil products as our standard for oil changes, and the best factory- approved lubricants for all transmission and differential services. We also offer Mobil One full synthetic and and use Redline gear oils exclusively as our standard gear oil (trans and diff) in all services.
